Manchester United came from behind to beat Tottenham 3-1 and heap further pressure on Spurs boss Jose Mourinho. After a largely uneventful opening, Edinson Cavani thought he had fired United into the lead just after the half an hour mark. But following a VAR check the goal was controversially disallowed as it judged Scott McTominay had fouled Son Heung-Min in the build-up. And just minutes later it was that man Son who put Spurs ahead as he slotted home from a Lucas Moura cross.Ten minutes after the break United were deservedly level, with Fred poking home after Hugo Lloris had parried from Cavani’s effort. And a superb diving header from Cavani ten minutes from the end and a late Mason Greenwood finish gave United the win. The result sees the pressure grow on Jose Mourinho, with Spurs now six points adrift in the race for a Champions League qualification spot.
