The member of Citizens Coalition for Change Mr. Job Sikhala has been denied bail by a Harare Magistrate citing the potential of political violence if he is released. Mr. Job Sikhala appeared before the court with his co-accused Mr. Godfrey Sithole, the pair stand accused of inciting and participating in public violence that occurred a few days ago when the memorial of the late Moreblessing Ali was held in Nyatsime.
Mr. Sikhala is said to be the brainchild of the violent activities that occurred on Tuesday last week in Nyatsime, however, he vehemently denied the allegations and cite politically motivated lawfare to try and silence him for speaking out against the murder of Moreblessing.

More blessing Ali was killed by a confessed murderer Pius Jamba of the Nyatsime area on the 24th of March 2022 after what is suspected to be a beerhall altercation. But some said the murder was politically motivated since Moreblessing Ali was an opposition activist in the area and was not related to Pius in any shape or form.
Mr. Sikhala volunteered to represent the Ali family in this case and was one of the CCC leaders who flipped the earth in search of her body until it was discovered last week. He is expected to appeal the ruling to a judge in the high court.
