The main opposition party Citizens Coalition for Change CCC spokesperson Miss Fadzai Mahere took to her social media account to report incidents of politically motivated violence in Matobo area where her campaign team is currently working on political related activists ahead of the October 21st by-elections.
She tweeted ” 🟡As ZANU PF thugs unleashed an orgy of violence in Ward 2 Matobo, a Pelandaba Bus plying the Bulawayo – Sankonjana route was stopped by Zanu PF thugs and the passengers were harassed at the Nkunzini Bus Stop.” She further added that the attackers were armed with guns and a police report has been made.
Another video has been circulating online showing a Nissan Navara bakkie with damaged windows which she said belongs to a senior CCC member and was attacked by CCC political opponents.
