There is stiff competition in the Sungura category, which sees Alick Macheso, Mark Ngwazi, Leonard Zhakata, and D. T. Bio Mudimba battling for the title, and fans are really excited to see who is going to take the award home.
The Zimbabwe Music Awards (Zima) have announced the 2023 date and categories to be contested, as submissions were opened two months ago.
The date is June 3, and the event will be held at the seemingly revived 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale. The ZIMA Awards are an annual event that happens in order to honor artists.
