The Grammy Awards have added the Best African Performance category to their list.
The category consists but is not limited as various categories are included.
Afrobeat, Afro-fusion, Afro Pop, Afrobeats, Alte, Amapiano, Bongo Flava, Genge, Kizomba, Chimurenga, High Life, Fuji, Kwassa, Ndombolo, Mapouka, Ghanaian Drill, Afro-House, South African Hip-Hop, and Ethio Jazz genres. Among them is the Nigerian giant, Burna Boy.
